F.I.V.E. DAYS
People.. seriously, I feel like I am drowning. You know the end of the year madness/craziness, right? I feel like I cannot get life together. This is hard for my over organized self.
And, five days is pushing it..
Really, I have 2 whole days and 2 half days with my current class.
..a few hours with next year's class
...and a teacher work day.
Throw in an award's day program and a field trip and next Friday cannot get here quick enough! Bring it on!

This post is going up before school on Friday.. so I am heading off to school with these and praying that I can pull off this super easy {last minute} Mother's Day activity in time to send home with my kids when school is out tomorrow.

I took individual pictures of the kids- and they are going to color and glue their picture on the flower page. We will fill out the questionnaire then glue it on the back of the flower page.. and laminate.

The questionnaire is a free download: Mother's Day Fill in the Blank Questionnaire.

My next year's class is coming to visit for a few hours on Monday morning. I will have parents in my room and we have been cleaning like crazy and we made these butterflies to hang up.

The patterns came from this book.

I am also getting a summer work packet ready to send home with next year's class too.

A quick and no prep time filler.. white board practice.
Days of the week abbreviations.

And writing number words with a buddy.

Our language skill this week has been learning about the dictionary. I usually teach the introduction to the dictionary in February.. after we have learned to put words in ABC order but .. it kept getting pushed back and back. But, no worries. We have squeezed it in this week and they have all picked it up really well!

Have a great weekend! I would love for you to link up below!
This time next week I will be on SUMMER VACATION!

  1. 5 more days? When did you start school? With all the snow days we get out on June 26th but we didn't start until the September.

  6. I love that you get to meet your class for next year before the school year is out! That's great for them to already have met you before their first day of school...helps with the first day jitters! :)

  8. Five days. I was about to comment on how close you are, but then I realized that I only have ten left. And I'm resisting the urge to panic. These last days really are crazy. Hang in there; you're almost finished!! :)
